Vintage Black Hawk recurve Collector's piece

  
Black Hawk Hornet Special recurve. RH, 54#, about 65 AMO, Serial # 8163 and HS 1163.

A Collector's piece which could also knock down anything at 54#. Beautiful vertical I-beam construction in maple and a medium-brown wood. Comes thru like some of the old BP palominos and Pintos.

Pretty easy to coat with Tru Oil or other finish. Some minor scuffs on riser, which is a hard thick poly. Limbs are straight and tips are intact. Fine tips like the early Red Wing Hunters.

An old plastic tip protector is stuck on the bottom tip. Needs a little WD-40 or alcohol. Anyway, a beautiful and uncommon bow.
