There are no dents or other signs of abuse, no sight holes, no cracks, no splits or cracks in the fiberglass. Bowstring tracks right down the center for fast arrow flights. Smooth on the draw, this bow is exceptionally well tillered at the factory. Its pure pleasure to shoot. Not easy to show in the photos is some normal varnish wear on the riser in places.

Overall finish is very good for a vintage user bow. The finish on the limbs is also very good, these limbs are in great shape. Thats because we keep our bow limbs camo fabric wrapped during use. This camo elastic fabric was removed for photos, and then put back on.

We supply a bow stringer with this bow and highly recommend its use. The original high wrist pistol grip has been sculpted down just enough to a very comfortable lower grip angle, with nice full thumb rest you will like. This greatly improved the bow 100% for me back when I bought it several years ago.

Was planning to checker the grip but never got around to it. Dave Windauer is the best to do this for you if you believe as we do, that a checkered grip bow gives the best accuracy you can achieve. This great Sambar bow is set up with both an elevated brush rest to shoot plastic vanes, and to shoot feathers off the shelf with a Bear rug rest, with two nocking locations. By the way, this let us enjoy shooting two arrows at once. Dont laugh til you try it, it sure is a lot of fun at the range, and is surprisingly accurate.

For close range shooting, this makes for an extra quiet energy-efficient shot, due to the bow delivering more of its energy to actual arrow thrust. The arrows fly parallel and land only a few inches apart at our 15 yard target.

This makes me want to try dual-arrow launch for hunting, so will try this on small game later on.
