YEAR MADE: 1970s (I'm unsure exactly what year). The bow is held in the left hand and the string is drawn with the right hand. This Ben Pearson Hunter 2 is a very good looking and good performing short hunting bow. The bow has no delamination and the limbs are straight. Overlays and tips are in good condition.

There are No drilled holes; No chips or cracks, there are some minor scratches and dings if you look closely, and it has minimal light stress lines, but no noticeable crazing. I tried to show the worst of these scratches in the photo. Cosmetic blemishes are minimal, especially given the age of the bow. The decal is original and in good/very good shape. The leather part of the arrow rest might be original (I think it is, but can't swear to it); the fuzzy rug on the shelf is not original.

It is in like new condition. Overall, this is a really nice bow in really nice condition, especially for its age. It is shiny because I take care of my bows and periodically wipe them off with furniture polish, but it was NOT refinished. You are looking at the original finish. I shot this bow as recently as this spring and it is a good shooting bow and I noticed no problems with it. However, because of the age of the bow I can make no guarantees regarding it's future performance. Use these old bows at your own discretion and at your own risk. It has never been used and is still in the original packaging. Look closely at the photos for the best sense of the condition of the bow. Feel free to ask any questions.
