RARE Heavy Firedrake Recurve Bow Harry Drake 88# @ 28 66 AMO RH Archery
Here's your opportunity to collect this VERY rare HEAVY Drake recurve! A piece of archery history! The bow, a Firedrake by the legendary Harry Drake is in great shape for its age. It was stored on a horizontal bow rack in a climate controlled non-smoking room. This is most likely one of the last bows built by Drake in their Lakeside CA shop. Besides the serial number, the only markings is the Drake Lakeside CA badge.
The bow pulls 88 pounds at 28, to my knowledge the heaviest Firedrake ever made. Tip to tip across the void measurement is 60. The first two pictures show the bow braced at a 7 1/2 brace.
