Here's an excellent-minus condition Bear 1954 Kodiak II, early and rare Walnut riser Recurve Bow (only made for a couple months in Walnut before switching to maple). It's 50# and at 60 AMO. There are no limb twists, holes, refinish or repairs. I'm being straight up on this and all my auctions; There is a strong possibility of failure in this one.

I've had this for a while and I've even successfully shot it a few times. Once I noticed A tiny inclusion (see the last two pix) I stopped shooting it. The person I bought it from did not disclose this, what I consider, a major possible failure I'LL Never do That. It's called FULL DISCLOSURE; its called Integrity.

The bow is in amazing condition otherwise pisses me right f'n off. I'm Born in 1954 and this is one I wanted to keep.

Please,,, I don't accept a return of this, or any other item because someone doesn't read the description and look at all the pix. There is no string provided here. I've always been completely honest.

But I've run into too many morons that want a guarantee for a 67 year old bow that had problems from the get go? Yes, these bows have had problems; has anyone ever seen a 1955 etc, etc Bear Kodiak II? It was made for one year only. One of the problems was a flaw in the build. Bear changed their fiberglass and limb design both that year and, most likely, didn't test it well enough prior to bringing it to market.

Also, inexperienced shooters that thought it was impressive to draw the string behind their ears (2" - 4" past the corner of one's mouth), and some wonder why there's an occasional failure? That's way beyond the proper anchor point. You're 6'4" and have a 33" draw, then pull the bow string behind your ear. Maybe, but do you see what I'm getting at? I've explained, I think, everything.

Don't shoot it; don't even string it. If it doesn't sell, that's OK, I can find a place on my wall. I may even take it down and shoot it myself occasionally, but I doubt it.
