It still has a sticker from a PA archery shop so Mr. Drake must have had some East Coast dealers. The Serial number 7571 stamped into the wood indicates production sometime in the mid-1960's.

A 1965 Drake catalog picture of the Firedrake Model recurve shows the same wood riser pattern as this bow. This bow should be uncommon in a 38# (at 28 draw) draw weight.
