Up for sale is a WNS ILF Take-down Recurve Bow, 66 inches long, 38# draw at 28. This is an ILF take-down recurve bow.
If youre not familiar with what ILF means, it stands for International Limb Fitting and that means that you can mix and match ILF limbs and risers. Any ILF limb can fit into any ILF riser.
In my case, I just chose to use WNS I heard they were good. Of course, take-down means you can separate the limbs from the riser. It is not a one-piece bow. As you can see from the pics, the riser is a black, right-hand, WNS Explore DX riser. It is 25 inches long. It was recommended that I not use limbs over 40# draw weight with this riser, and that was fine, because I cant comfortably draw more than 40# anyway. The limbs are WNS Explore W1 limbs. When combined with the WNS 25-inch riser they produce a recurve bow that is 66 inches long (unstrung). A draw weight 38 pounds at a draw length of 28 inches.
I have several 62-inch recurves I enjoy shooting and wanted to try a longer recurve, plus I wanted to try an ILF recurve. It shoots really good and is highly accurate, but its 66-inch length makes it very awkward for me to shoot while sitting in my wheelchair. It has a magnetic arrow rest already installed on it.
A string, with nocking point, is also included. It is a beautiful bow. Theres NO plunger, stabilizer, NOR arrows included in this sale.
You see there is a black zip tie attached to the riser for hanging it in my garage with my others bows. The last pic shows it hanging with my other bows. Thats all I can think of to tell you about the bow.
